Properties

The dwellings are unfurnished but are considered to be the Resident’s home, designed with the needs of older people in mind. The aim is to provide convenient and comfortable accommodation in a setting, which allows residents to come and go as they please. The dwellings provide security and residents are encouraged to make friends. A Lifeline call system is in each property so a resident can get help quickly in an emergency.

In lieu of rent a Maintenance Charge is due each month in advance and paid by standing order/direct debit. You will be given a minimum of one month’s notice of any increase.

The amount you pay covers part of the cost of running the dwellings and includes:-

• Water and sewage charges
• Limited heating and hot water
• Repairs and maintenance
• Insurance of the buildings
• Upkeep of the garden
• Call system and smoke alarms
